Journal Entry #3 - "What is a good student?" and "What is a good teacher?" (2 minutes/3 items each)
Bible:
Taking notes on how to study the Bible for our personal devotions
1. Read for pleasure, without measure.
2. Search for treasure.
Science:
Introduction to "Toothpick Bridges" project
Students need to decide if they want to be a project manager, architect, or engineer
Math:
Started the beginning of the year assessment. This needs to be done at school.
Reading:
Introduced new book: "Days of Terror" about a boy in a persecuted Mennonite community during the Russian revolution.
Language Arts:
Created a list of 25 nouns, verbs, and adjectives to describe themselves. This will be put into a "Wordle". You can see what a Wordle is at the Corn Roast.
Due: Journal entry and "Wordle" list both due tomorrow, August 31.
